From a Dubai showroom to a Maltese marina.

Elite Rentals started in Dubai with a small fleet of supercars and one rule. The day a guest gets matters more than the asset they pick up. We applied that rule to a market that had stopped applying it.

Pickups ran on time. Cars arrived clean. The voice on the other end of the booking call sounded like it cared. Most of our early guests came from concierges and hotel desks who told us, quietly, that we were the only people doing the simple stuff well.

Inside two seasons the name moved through the city. By the third season, guests we had never met were asking for us by name when they landed at the airport.

Guests from London, Geneva, Monaco, and Paris kept asking the same thing. Could we run the day across borders, in their summer ports, with the same kind of care that we ran in Dubai? We took the question seriously and answered it slowly.

We added captains we trusted in cities we already worked in. We added cars where the routes made sense. We turned down partners who looked good on paper and felt off in person. The fleet grew. The standard refused to be rushed.

By the time the brand reached the central Mediterranean, the rule was the same. Hand pick the asset. Hand pick the people. Hand pick the day. Send the guest home talking about it.

Malta works for a yacht charter the way few Mediterranean islands work. The harbours are sheltered. The runs to Comino and Gozo are short. The water stays warm from May through October. The day a guest gets here lands cleaner than almost anywhere we have worked.

We opened the charter desk in Valletta and built a small fleet around it. Nineteen boats today, from a 28 foot Axopar built for fast Comino runs to a 124 foot Tansu for the week. Every yacht ships with the captain, the crew, and the standard kit. We pre arrange the fuel, the lunch, and the beach club tables before the day starts.

The captains are Maltese. They know which corner of Crystal Lagoon stays calm when the wind shifts. They know the slow run past Saint Mary's Tower that turns a good day into a great one. They know when to leave Valletta and when to let the harbour fill up with day boats first.

Berend Stolk runs the Malta charter desk. He answers most of the WhatsApp messages, holds the contracts with the captains, and sees most of the guests on the dock. The team is small enough that the founders still sign off on every charter the day before it sails.
