01Booking

How to book a yacht in Malta

How do I book a yacht charter in Malta with you?
Send a WhatsApp message with your dates, your group size, and a sense of the day you want. We come back inside ten minutes during the season with the yachts that fit, the price, and a captain on hold. A fifty percent deposit confirms the booking. The balance settles before you board.
How far ahead should I book a Malta yacht charter?
From late June through the first week of September the most requested boats fill up three to six weeks ahead. June and September often confirm the same week. April, May, and October usually confirm inside a few days. The earlier you lock the dates, the more options you have.
Do you take same day yacht bookings?
Yes, when the captain and the crew schedules allow. Send a WhatsApp before noon. We call the captain and reply with what is realistic for the rest of the day, the route the wind will allow, and a final price.
Can I hold a yacht while my group confirms the dates?
We hold most boats for forty eight hours during quieter weeks. In peak season holds need a small refundable deposit because demand is real. We tell you exactly which rule applies to your dates when you send the first message.
02Pricing

Real prices and what they cover

How much does a yacht charter in Malta cost?
Day boats from twenty eight to forty five feet start around 1,000 to 1,900 euros for a full day. Motor yachts from fifty to seventy feet sit between 3,200 and 6,500 euros per day. Larger eighty to ninety foot boats run from 6,500 to 11,000 euros. The 124 foot Tansu Caladan starts at 90,000 euros for a low season week and 120,000 euros in July or August. Every yacht card on the fleet page shows the real number.
What is included in the charter price?
The yacht itself, the captain, the crew that boat needs to run safely, harbour fees at the home port, towels, cold water, ice, and a Bluetooth sound system. Larger boats add a hostess, a chef, and a tender driver as part of the rate.
What is not included in the charter rate?
Fuel, food, premium drinks, beach club tables, marina fees away from the home port, and a few water toys are added on top. We pre arrange the lot and send a clear final number before you commit.
Do you accept card and bank transfer?
Yes. We accept Visa, Mastercard, UnionPay, SEPA, and PayPal for the deposit. Card payments are protected by Stripe. For superyacht charters we also accept bank transfer and a few crypto options including Bitcoin, Ethereum, and USDT.
Is the deposit refundable?
Yes if the captain calls the day off because of wind, sea state, or a technical issue. We move the booking to another date that suits you, or refund the full deposit. If you cancel, the refund follows the cancellation policy on the dedicated page.
03On Board

What you find on the boat

Are the yachts fully crewed?
Every boat in the fleet sails with a fully licensed captain. Day boats run with the captain only. Forty to seventy foot motor yachts add a deckhand. Eighty foot plus boats add a hostess, a chef, and a tender driver. The crew sets the table, looks after safety, and runs the day so you can sit back.
Are the captains licensed and the boats insured?
Yes. Every captain holds a current Maltese skipper licence or a higher RYA Yachtmaster credential. Every boat ships with up to date insurance, current safety kit, and full safety paperwork. We check the documents the morning of every charter.
Are food and drinks on board?
Soft drinks, water, and ice are on every boat at no extra cost. Lunch, premium drinks, chef service, and beach club bookings are extras we pre arrange so the day flows. Tell us your group size and any allergies in the first message.
Can I bring a sound system or a DJ?
On most party charters yes. The boat already runs a marine sound system you can pair over Bluetooth. For DJs we have boats that take a CDJ setup and a small generator. Local sound rules still apply, so the captain has the final word once the boat is at anchor.
Are children welcome on a Malta yacht charter?
Yes. Family charters and Comino days work well for children of any age. Life jackets in their size are kept on board. Crews brief the youngest guests before the boat leaves the marina and check the water for jellyfish before any swim stop.
04Routes and Timing

Where the boat actually goes

How long is a typical yacht charter day in Malta?
A full day charter runs around eight hours, usually ten in the morning to six in the afternoon. Half day charters run four hours. Sunset charters run three to four hours in the late afternoon. Multi day and overnight charters are available on yachts with cabins.
Where do the yachts depart from in Malta?
Most pickups are from Valletta Waterfront, Sliema marina, or Buġibba. Some yachts work from Mġarr in Gozo or from St Paul's Bay. We confirm the exact dock the day before with parking and arrival instructions on WhatsApp.
Can we go to Comino and Gozo in one day?
Yes, this is the most popular yacht charter route in Malta. The crossing to Comino is around twenty minutes by motor yacht. A full day usually covers the Blue Lagoon early, Crystal Lagoon mid morning, San Niklaw Bay for lunch on board, and a slow run past the Gozo cliffs before the return at golden hour.
What if the weather changes during our charter?
Captains read the wind every morning and shape the route around it. If a wind shift kills a planned anchorage during the day, the captain reroutes to a sheltered cove with the same kind of swimming. If the sea state is unsafe to leave, we move the booking to another date or refund the unused portion.
05Extras

Toys, transfers, and concierge

Which water toys come with the yacht?
Paddleboards and basic snorkel kits ship with most yachts at no extra cost. Seabobs, jet skis, eFoils, water slides, and tow tubes are available on selected boats and run on a daily rate. The water toys page lists rates and the boats they fit.
Can you arrange a private chef on board?
Yes. We work with Maltese chefs who run a tasting menu on the aft deck for groups of six and up. Tell us your group size, any allergies, and a sense of the cuisine you want. We send a sample menu and a clear price before the day.
Do you arrange beach clubs and dinners ashore?
Yes. We hold tables at the most requested clubs and restaurants in Sliema, Buġibba, Mġarr, and Xlendi. Day beds, private rooms, and dinner reservations can be pre booked. The captain runs the boat to the right dock and the team handles the rest.
Can you arrange airport and hotel transfers?
Yes. Private cars meet you at Malta International Airport, the runway, or the hotel and run you straight to the marina. The same car waits at the dock when you return. Add this to your booking message and we include it in the quote.
Do you charter yachts for weddings, birthdays, or photo shoots?
Yes. We charter yachts regularly for weddings, proposals, milestone birthdays, brand launches, photo and film shoots, and corporate days. The team handles the route, the catering, and the timing with your producer or planner. Permits and any commercial fees are arranged by us.
